[ A little shudder, as Urianger felt himself slip into sleep. He had no clue that his faerie lover would follow him into them.

Into the strange fields, a golden kirin sitting there. Urianger couldn't help but feel his own mind shifting. This kirin... they came over, gently, and wrapped themselves around Urianger.

Urianger had not realised he had become a child kirin, that he had become much smaller. But he was looking around a little, for he could hear the familiar beating of wings of-- ]

Do you think you might be able to teach us some of your wisdom?

[ The Kiren was quiet, before looking to them both. ]

I-- suppose I am. [ But as Urianger said that, he could feel the mood around them changing. Reality shifting...? He didn't know. ]

[He shifts, trying to get a look at it- watching the fields shifting, becoming a different landscape.]

[ The land shifted - to a Far Eastern shrine, long abandoned. The larger kirin seemed relaxed, nesting Urianger closer to himself. ]

It is not often a kirin is born. They are never born like Men are.

[Somewhere he hasn't quite had the chance to be. Thancred gives it an interested look, before settling Urianger's other side.]

No? Then… is it a matter of becoming, like this?

[ Nodding, the kirin smiled. ]

It is a state of ascension. Of those who are truly enlightened - the truly selfless.

He is a tired, tired Man. Perhaps this shall aid him.

…well. That sounds a lot like him. [He smiles, reaching out to fuss over Urianger a little.]

I hope so. He's… been through a lot.

[ Urianger seemed to just be taking in everything, so softly. ]

He has. But not even his deaths have stopped his kindness. What guides it? [ --multiple? ]

…deaths? [He can't help a note of worry, cuddling into Urianger a little more.]. I think- the desire to watch over us. To help…

...His body on the Source has not been doing well. [ The Kirin said, quietly, as Urianger whined. ] I was in the area, seeking a Warrior who has conquered the Summons nearby - but I could not help but notice it.

…yes. I don't- I wish I knew what to do. How to return him to it…. [He keeps stroking Urianger's head, gently.]. Ah- did you visit, then?

Ah- I'm Thancred. [Though he suspects Mor Lyon knew that, of course.] The one walking the world? What do you think of it these days?

[ Mor Lyon smiled, giving Thancred a lick. ] It is beautiful. Even if people still have the same squabbles that made me begin my quest.

[ Urianger seemed to be willing to let Mor Lyon... manipulate his mind. Or was it him, altering reality? Urianger seemed so relaxed... ]

[He huffs out a laugh, reaching out to touch Mor Lyon.] I suppose people haven't changed that much. But… it's a good place, isn't it?

[It seems nice. Peaceable, and settled…]

It is. All realms I have seen. [ A soft smile. ] I am able to wander between... what you call Shards, yes? And Fragments.

[ Urianger then couldn't help it - he leaned on Thancred more. ]

That certainly sounds worth seeing. [He nods.]. The different stars that arose… I wonder what the others are like. It would be interesting to see them for ourselves.

[He makes a soft sound, reaching out to cuddle Urianger, hand stroking him again.]

[ Urianger cuddled back, gently. Magic pulsing from him. ]

It is a skill that can be taught - but it would take a long time. Would you still wish to see it?

[He settles, arm around Urianger, just trying to feel the magic a little.]

…well. I imagine that would be well worth the time. I would, indeed.

[ Mor Lyon gave a little chuckle. Before seeming to smile. ]

[ Urianger gave a happy sound. ]

You are a faerie... would you become an embodiment of the elements, like this one?

[He nods.]. Both of us- we should be able to keep out of trouble, most like.

…well. It's been strange, adjusting to this…. I don't suppose it would be much stranger.

You two are already bonded so very deeply. You'll help each other. I wonder what element will overtake you? He is a being of nature.

[He nuzzles back, with a happy sound.]

Of course. Ah- I wonder. What might there be, then? I'd hope… to be someone who could work well with him.

A combination? I suppose… respecting nature, and being able to live well with it. If you mean what I think of… I suppose I think of wind and waves the most.
