trashy vampire/demon shipping
[ Demon summoning was something simple for one who's grown though all these Era. And sometimes, a vampire grew... tired. Especially after basically everybody he cared for had vanished. Staff in his hands, blood of Voidsent (he knew Spoken Blood called stronger but he felt no desire to use that right now) spilled in his Summoning Circle, he was ready.
Of course, he wouldn't do this in the Waking Sands. No, he had retreated to his secret Manor, hidden in harsh fog. Having shed his makeup - having let his skin go back to pale grey - the vampire Scion had a grin on his face as he recited the spell. He had drawn a sigil he drew quite often, the incubus who he felt a long-drawn connection to - summoning him at the times where he needed somebody to trust and talk to. And gave payment of sex and food.
Not that he knew that the incubus had become his friend as well. ]
Demon of life and love, I call to thee, though halls of Desire. Hear thy call!
[ Incense burned around, soft smells bellowing though the halls. He was ready. The spell was cast. ]

[ Though the pain is horrific as well. His voice is trembling... in joy. ]
I want to. We have no reason to fear this eternity. [ But then, he muses: ] Those who bond - mortals - exchange rings. Perhaps we should do the same? Celebrate it like them.
no subject
I would like that... But maybe a different jewel besides a ring... Those are easily noticed, goven their symbolism for mortals. What of earrings, or... I've noticed some ladies get them here. [A finger brush against the others bellybutton.]

[ He's keeping his warmness, even as his tone turns to less seriousness. ]
I wonder how long they'd last? Would it last longer then our tattoos?
[ ...He sort of likes his Scion marks, however. Secretly, he loves this Era and those he's grown close to. ]
no subject
Who knows. You know once these start to fade, we have to leave. [His hand moved to caress the tattoo on his friend's face, before moving over to kiss him.] Hopefully we can go together, this time.

[ Yes, he thinks it's fun to plan death. What can you say, he's a dramatic man. ]
...I like this life, Thancred. I wanted to turn those we work with.
no subject
How do you think they would take that?
no subject
[ And look where that got them. He gives a bitter smile, moving to kiss Thancreds' neck tattoos. Lingering, for he loves the feeling of blood flowing. ]
I doubt they would survive much longer, if turned. Wandering into the sun, not gifted my recovery skills...
...But my research continues. Into not just that. And... I think results shall flourish soon.

[He nuzzles at the ear he can reach.]
Have more if you like. I don't think I'm moving much and have time to rest.
A for that research, what are you getting into now?
no subject
[ He was born this way - as he seems to go for a bite... but instead, goes for a few more kisses, letting his fangs drag on the neck. ]
...I have been observing groups, at the ends of each Era - Astral and Umbral each. They mirror each other in many ways... even scent. [ He oft said nobody carried the same scent. ] And so, this Era... I had manipulated events, if only a little. Given those who had familiar scents a marking of my choosing. When you appeared but a child, do you recall? A stranger, giving you odd fruit...
[ Fruit which left a slight scent for the entire lifetime of a Hyur. ]
And those with that mark came together in the Circle of Knowing, as I thought. Though they carry memories not... they carry the same souls, growing to be similar Spoken. [ In other words, he's proven reincarnation. Perhaps that's why he's calmed down about people dying? ]
no subject
Yes... I do remember that man. It was you? [He pauses for a moment to think.] Reincarnation then... Although they wouldn't remember us in the end.
no subject
[ He gently let out a sigh, licking at the wound he left. ] Memories fray... but we have time to find a way to remind them. If souls carry personality, can they not carry what crafted them? So that we can see them again...
no subject
But, messing with their memories. Their souls. Wouldn't that be meddling too much?
no subject
[ His voice is gentle, though, between taking a little more. Thancred... that is when he can feel full, instead of feasting on those who didn't fill him. His favorite taste. ]
...Have we not been afforded a chance to meddle? If only once, I don't want to lose them. [ He knows it's selfish, as he brings himself closer. ]
no subject
[He allows him to continue to feed, lacing his fingers with the vampire's hand.]
Tell me. What do I taste like?
no subject
[ Sometimes, he wishes he could experience death. But at the question, he lets out a sigh, wistful. ]
Many different mortals hold different kinds of blood. The healthier, the better it feels - tinted with the most soft of Aether. But you...
You taste finer then anything a mortal could create as a food. Soft and bitter both, the bitterness which makes me shudder and wish it could be with those who age and die.
Though... even though we now know of each other? I still need some of the worse, to appreciate you more. [ (AKA he's not gonna stop hunting. It's... fun.) ]
no subject
So, what? I'm like some sort of fine aged wine you savor? [He's chuckling.]
no subject
[ He says, gently. But his chuckle even feels nice, as he closes his eyes. ] Only the finest. You taste... a little sweeter then normal. Is that because of your mortal body?
[ His fingers have curled into Thancreds' hair. ] ...I love this. Learning more of you.
no subject
[He runs his hand down the others chest, thinking for a moment.]
What do you want to learn about me?
no subject
[ He cannot help but let out the smallest of chuckles - imagining his dear demon as but an animal. But his voice is also gentle. Calm, as he continues to stroke though the others' hair. ] ...I wonder how many times you've come to me, as I've remained ignorant? Would that I knew how much you'd manipulate I to your own goals.
no subject
[He doesn't purr, but would if he was the type.] I wouldn't know of your other forms.
no subject
I am no master of Glamour. Though it is interesting in passing... I tend to look similar. For one, there are my tells.
...Except when removed by force. It was rather trying when my eyes were removed - a way to mask my golden hue.
no subject
That might explain why I'm drawn to people with brighter colored eyes. I'm trying to get to the one who calls me. But, I still don't know if I ever fed upon you in another life...
no subject
...It sounds romantic, in a way. I wished... I could be with you when not to feed. Even in past lives I've held. But it seemed as if a far-off dream, for what purpose would it solve?
[ As he finishes talking, however, he gives a little kiss. ]
no subject
Company. A way to keep off the loneliness that comes from immortality. Knowing someone else will be there as long as you will. I have felt it too.
Where I wished you were with me... even to just watch the sunset.
